Survivor: Camarines, also known as Survivor: Camarines — Rivals is the 32nd season of Mateo's Survivor Series.

Twists

• Longer Game: The game lasted 42 days, three days longer than the previous season. After this season, the game reverted to the standard 39 day format.

• Rival vs Rival: Players will be paired with a competing their worst enemy on the cast. Every castaway will be playing individually, so they will remain in the game even if their rival is voted out. This season, five rivals will be put on one tribe with the other five rivals being put onto the second tribe.
• Redemption Island: Anyone voted out will be sent there and will then compete in a three-person duel. The last place finisher in each contest is out of the game for good, while the top two remain. In the event of a four player duel, the bottom two will be eliminated.
• Challenge Island: Returning from Survivor: Sri Lanka with new revisions. Contestants will be sent to Challenge Island where they will be presented with a choice to participate in the challenge in order to receive an advantage. If they complete the challenge then they will receive an advantage in the game. If they lose the challenge then they will lose their vote at the next Tribal Council. In the pre-merge stage of the game, the winning of the reward or immunity challenge will send a member from the losing tribe to Challenge Island. In which they will return for Tribal Council. In the merge stage of the game, the group or individual who wins reward will send a player who lost to Challenge Island.
  • Legacy Advantage returned this season via Challenge Island. Mattias successfully completed the challenge and received the advantage.
  • Vote Block was a new advantage that allows the holder to block two players vote at Tribal Council. This is usable up until the final 6. Canyon successfully completed the challenge and received the advantage.
  • Steal-A-Vote returned this season by Challenge Island. Canyon successfully completed the challenge and received this advantage.

• Double Elimination: At one point, Veruela was subjected to a Double Elimination, where the tribe was divided into two groups of four and two castaways would be eliminated through two separate Tribal Councils on a single night.
